When built, Carmen was the largest car carrier in the world, with a capacity of almost 8,000 cars. As is customary, the engine room and car decks are protected by a low-pressure CO2 system. SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S has a long standing relationship with Wallenius Wilhelmsen, and therefore we were invited to provide the fire-fighting system for this series of five vessels.
