Danfoss Silicon Power is an innovative designer and manufacturer of power modules for solar and wind power plants, electric cars, medical equipment, industrial and automotive controls as well as many other appliances. The clean room at Danfoss Silicon Power is one of the largest in Europe, with approximately 3,900 m2. The clean room has been equipped with highly specialised production machinery, which is vital for manufacturing sensitive components.
In line with this cutting edge technology, SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system from Danfoss Semco was chosen for fire protection in the clean room at Danfoss Silicon Power. The SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist system uses very little water. In case of a fire, the water damage will be kept to a minimum. This is imperative for the high-tech clean rooms in Danfoss Silicon Power as it means no business interruption.
