Ro-Ro & PCTC Vessels

Over the years, SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S has proven itself as a preferred supplier to many of the largest owners and operators in the Ro-Ro and PCTC market. Our unique skid mounted SEM-SAFE® low-pressure CO2 solution ensures a minimum of installation for the shipyard as well assuring that the system which has been thoroughly tested in our workshop prior to shipment is exactly the same as after installation by the shipyard.

All systems are tailor made to fit the ship series taking into consideration special owner and shipyard demands.

Protected areas

The SEM-SAFE® low-pressure CO2 system  from SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S covers protection of the engine room and cargo holds as well as any other area where it could be useful to have CO2 fire protection.

The system is designed to ensure release within the 2 minutes for engine rooms and 10 minutes for cargo holds. Danfoss uses first grade components for the system. This also means that all our distribution valves are made from Stainless Steel (SUS 316), as we believe that the safety of the crew is paramount and therefore it is important that the valve quality will not be deteriorated over the lifetime of the vessel due to the harsh environment.

With a SEM-SAFE® low-pressure CO2 system from SEM-SAFE Fire Safety A/S on board, you have the best and safest means of fire protection. This allows you to concentrate on operations and have a safe reliable continuous journey.
